스코틀랜드 지방에 전하는 백파이프*의 곡. 우를라르(urlar)라고 불리는 주제와 매우 고도하게 꾸며진 변주로 이루어진 것. 테마는 엠, 달리, 딜리 등이라고 불리는 선율형으로 구성되어 있으며, 이 선율형의 명칭에 따라 면밀한 기보가 행해지고 있다.
