Chicago Soul : 초창기 Soul이예요. Soul 음악의 머릿돌이라고 할까^^ 그래서 브라스(금관악기나 목관악단) 편성을 보여주는 뮤지션이 많아요. 스타일은 기법적인 자유로움이 있죠, 재즈같은. 오래되고 큰 히트가 변변찮은 탓에 우리나라에서 접하기 쉬운 음악은 아님^^(Jerry Butler, Gene Chandler, The Chi-Lites, The Impressions...)
